Do you constantly compare yourself to others, and feel that you are a failure–that life has been unfair? You can change the way you feel about yourself, and choose to see yourself the way God sees you. He created you to be a winner; to be a world changer. My Dad told me that I could do anything that I made up my mind to do, but I held fast to the misbelief that I was a non-entity without hope for many years. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. My belief system was flawed and contrary to God’s Word, but over time, with a lot of scriptural self-talk and prayer I began to change my feelings and experience victory over myself. My feelings did not give up easily, but God gave me the strength to persevere. The old attitude of defeat struggled to remain, but I made a decision to believe what God said about me. In spite of difficulties, I am more than a conqueror through Him! Study the lives of successful people who have gone before you and fellowship with others who are winners. You have God’s grace, power and ability! Choose to be a winner!

PRAYER:
Father, I thank you for all the pioneers who blazed the way, all the veterans cheering me on. I will never quit! I lay aside every weight and every sin that would hinder me. I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of my faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I am running to win. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Amen
