While I was meditating on Ephesians 1 and 2 the Holy Spirit began to open my eyes to a glorious truth. Together, you and I are seated in heavenly places in Christ, and I saw the utter defeat of Satan and his demonic forces. Jesus has all authority both in heaven and earth, and he says now you go in my name telling others about this great news of the Gospel. You will be my witnesses, my living epistles read of all men. You don’t have to fight the devil (Jesus did that for you); you have the power to withstand him and resist him, and according to the Scriptures he has to flee. He has no authority over you unless you give him place. Read in Ephesians 4 how to avoid giving the devil any room or a foothold in your life. The choice is yours, not his!
PRAYER:
I ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know Him better…that the eyes of our heart may be enlightened…that we may know the hope to which he has called us, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints…his incomparably great power for all who believe. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Amen
