Do you have a vision and a definition of success? There are those who give up before they get started saying I could never achieve that. They forget that all things are possible to him who believes. How you feel about yourself is very important. Only you can decide whether or not you are a success, and often your feelings will tell you that you are a failure. God created you more than a conqueror – that defines you as a success. Focus on your goal, and commit the care of it to the Lord. Proverbs 16 says that He will cause your thoughts to be agreeable to His will. This will enable you to develop a plan that will succeed. If you should get side-tracked ask the Holy Spirit to help you. He is your Guide and He knows the changes that you may need to make to achieve your goal. Many successful people learned from their failures, and so can you. In fact, one person said there are no failures, but many learning steps to achieving a goal. Hold fast to your vision, write it down and you will see it fulfilled. Someone has said that success is not a destination, it’s a journey. You haven’t failed until you quit. Never give up! God is on your side.

PRAYER:
Often we hear the admonition: Just follow your heart. The writer of Proverbs makes it clear that this is not always good advice: He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a [self-confident] fool, but he who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered. (Pr 28:27 AMP) Jesus revealed that the heart is the ground where the word of God is planted. (Luke 8:5-15) Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flow the issues of life, and keep your heart free of resentment, bitterness and anger, lust for riches; it is to be good ground where the word of God can be planted. Reading, meditating, praying Scriptural prayers, praying in the spirit will position you to hear the wise answer God is giving. Jesus, the Living Word, is made unto you wisdom. If you lack wisdom, ask and it shall be given. Walk in wisdom, and your plans shall unfold according to the will, purpose and plan of God. You were created to succeed!

PRAYER:
Lord, the plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to me, but from You comes the [wise] answer of the tongue. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but You, Lord, weigh the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart). I roll my works upon You [commit and trust them wholly to You; You will cause my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will, and] so shall my plans be established and succeed. In the name of Jesus I thank You for directing my paths. Amen
