Father, in Christ You chose us before the world was made so that we would be Yours – holy and blameless in Your sight. Because of love, You had already decided to make us Your own children through Jesus Christ. In Christ we are set free by the blood of His death, and so we have received forgiveness for our sins. We have received Jesus as Your Son, we believe in His name, and He gave us the right to become Your children. We love You because You first loved us. Amen.
