Billy Graham said, “If America is to survive we must elect more God centered men and women to public office.”
This upcoming election is crucial to the future of our children and grandchildren. I encourage you to pray and go to the polls to vote for god-fearing men and women to be in positions of authority in our government. (I voted early this year because the WMI prayer team and I will be in North Africa.)
Make sure you mark your calendar to VOTE on November 7 2006! It DOES make a difference whether you VOTE and this is another critical election for the values Christians hold dear.
Elections for the United States Senate have 33 of the 100 seats being contested. Senators are elected for six-year terms with one third of the Senate seats up for a vote every two years. The term of office for those elected on November 7th 2006 will be until January 3, 2013.
The 2006 House election is scheduled for the same date as the Senate election, as well as many state and local elections, including those for 36 state governors. It is important that you know the candidates. We are blessed to live in a country where we have a voice; let your voice be heard!
