A True Confession
OK…I started out with a question, but have decided to turn it around and tell you that I’m rejoicing that God, our Father, corrects me with great love. When I ask Him to forgive me, He not only forgives me, but cleanses me from all unrighteousness!! Oh, what a God we serve!! My heart overflows with thanksgiving when I say…my conscious is clear…I am not guilty because there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. He did not allow me to continue in disobedience!!! Thank You…Father of spirits!!!
The AMO prayer guideline is working in my life! The ‘”O” stands for obey! Years ago God gave me a vision…won’t go into the details…of praying for the nations. He was faithful to remind me over many years …but I tried to ignore it…too overwhelming!!!! (Did you hear me screaming?) Please be patient with me here, but there is one detail that I need to share…since the United States presidential elections of last year I’ve been asking God for His plan…PLEASE…pretty please, God…(Yep, I even whined a wee bit.)…He has answered…He has given me the heart and enthusiasm to say, “YES, LORD, YES!”
This is Your plan?????
“Behold, is it not from the Lord of hosts that peoples labor merely for fire, and nations weary themselves for nothing? For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:13-14)
Holy Spirit, help! How and what am I to pray? He gave me the Job principle (Job 42:10) to encourage me…don’t be frustrated about the nations because God is not frustrated…He has a plan even before the foundation of the world!
It wasn’t easy, but I began writing prayers for the nations, and out of that has come God’s plan for the church to pray for the church. In His mind there isn’t a European, American, Asian, Chinese, Korean, Australian, Canadian church, etc…the is only ONE church in locations around the world. Jesus is building the church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it! He is the Head of the Body…unfortunately, it’s the members who get in the way! But God! He has a plan that includes us!!!! I cannot begin to tell you how very honored I am that He gives me the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to write prayers that avail much!
