A Message to Women of God
This is a call to women of God to arise clothed in the armor of God (Ephesians 6). You are women of valor, with great inner strength and well able to influence communities and nations for righteousness and justice. You have the power to possess the gate of the enemy.

According to the signs of the time we are living in the “time of the end.” The knowledge of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets is increasing everyday. (Daniel 12:4) Women, we must rise up in power and faith that works by love. There is revival coming to the church, preceding the great end-time harvest and it is imperative that we walk in obedience to our God.

In the beginning God created man and woman in His own image, and His purpose was for them to walk together as one in fellowship with God. God is calling us to walk in His original plan. Adam and Eve made a choice that frustrated this divine purpose. It was never God’s intention that one would rule over the other, but when Eve’s desire turned from God to her husband their relationship changed, and they no longer walked in the power of harmony and agreement. Her identity was shaped by man’s opinion of her, and she tried to fulfill his expectations. She forgot that she was created in the image of her Creator.

Woman began to see herself as less than man, and he began to rule over her. She gave away her empowerment to be the person she was meant to be and man relegated her to a subservient role. Religion reinforced the rule of man over woman, and devalued woman as an equal, robbing them of God’s best. A need to rule and control was birthed in their souls opening the door for competition, and we lost our way. Manipulation and control issues took root within their souls as women tried to please men; as women attempted to find emotional healing and fulfillment. Selfishness and self-centeredness occupied first place in their hearts. BUT God’s original plan has been restored in Christ Jesus—in Him there is neither male nor female. In His there is healing, salvation, emotional wholeness and the intimacy for which woman longs. In Him all your needs, including emotional needs are met.

The souls of men and women have to be restored to God’s original purpose. Fuchsia Pickett wrote in the Women of Destiny Bible: When redemption cleanses us from the desire to rule, man and woman will not be threatened by each other, but will welcome each other’s godly counsel. This is the hour.

God has called you and designed you to be a woman of influence; He has given you His power to be His witness at home, and in your community. You are a world-changer! Like Eve, the choices you make will determine your future and the future of those who come after you. Adam blamed Eve for his sin, and woman has carried the blame, guilt and condemnation for both ever since. The church and society reinforced her negative image of herself, and she became separated from her true personality.

Let us renew our minds according to the Word of God. We can no longer use our parents, husbands, the church as an excuse to ignore our responsibility to God and others. We have a job to do, and it is time to establish and maintain an intimate relationship with the Father, time to take responsibility, whether you are married or single, for your own decisions and behavior – determine to fulfill your destiny. With the Holy Spirit as your helper and wise counselor you well able to come along side man to fulfill Genesis 1:26-28.

You have the God-given power of choice. Jesus, the Truth, made you free to choose and take control of your thought life, to pull down strongholds that are exalted above the Word of God. What you believe about yourself is important. As a person thinks in her heart, so is she. (Proverbs 23:7) Either truth or wrong perceptions will determine your decisions, actions, and reactions.

There is an example in the Old Testament of a man who believed a lie. He believed he was about to die and he chose to give away his birthright, which changed the course of history and the lives of his children. Your choices will either perpetuate the sins of the fathers or produce blessings for this and future generations.

What are your perceptions about God, about yourself and about others? Have you given up your right to make choices? Do you blame others for your present circumstances? You have no responsibility for what was done to you, but you are totally responsible for your actions and reactions today. Your past can either be a hitching post that keeps you tied down or a guidepost leading you to your destiny. Even if you don’t acknowledge that you are making choices, you are.

Woman of God, you have an enemy – the same enemy Eve faced – but you don’t have to make the same mistake. God is not your enemy! Satan is your enemy and his plan is to use your influence for destruction in the lives of those within your area of influence. If he can convince you that you don’t measure up and that you can’t do anything about your circumstances, if he can establish a stronghold of self-pity, guilt and condemnation, if he can convince you that not even God loves you, he can hold you in bondage to self-destructive thought patterns. If you have children they will suffer the consequences of your thoughts, behavior and decisions or the rewards of your good choices.

God wants you to take responsibility for your life; He wants you to make wise choices. Satan wants you to continue the blame game—blaming other people for your mistakes and failures. God wants you to succeed and enjoy the more abundant life. Satan wants you to maintain a victim mentality; God wants you to be a victorious woman – more than a conqueror. Satan wants you to fail and struggle all your life. God wants to set you on a high place of success; Satan wants to hold you in the miry clay of selfishness, self-centeredness, fear, anger, unforgiveness, resentment, manipulation and depression. Which will you choose? Who will you worship? Who will you seek to please? Who do you desire? Who will you serve? Who is your first love?

You were born for such a time as this. You are a vital link between generations, and God wants to use you as an instrument of righteousness and justice in your sphere of influence. Your recreated spirit, that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God, is the lamp of the Lord, searching all your innermost parts. (Proverbs 20:27) As you read the Word of God ask the Holy Spirit to come along side your spirit and expose the religion, manmade doctrines and traditions that have hindered you from rising up as the woman of God. Exchange old thought patterns about yourself for God’s thoughts about you. You will become well-balanced and in tune with God’s spiritual laws that govern the universe.

Give God preeminence in your heart and soul. Let your desire be to please the Father, and take your place as a valuable, vital part of the Body of Christ.

You are God’s woman!
