Dear Friends,
Let us not forget that Jesus is the reason for the season. All He wants is you! Keep your faith active with praise, prayer, meditation and Bible reading. In view of all the mercies of God give your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto Him, which is your reasonable service and spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1) Rejoice in the Lord and proclaim His goodness, and have a Merry Christmas.
The following article is part of the legacy Donnis Brock Griffin, my mother, left for her family and friends. Today, her ministry of healing and health lives on in the hearts of men and women.

What faith the centurion had! He knew his servant would be healed if Jesus would speak the healing word. Jesus spoke — the centurion mixed his faith with the spoken word, and the servant was healed that self-same hour.
Throughout my childhood I was very sickly and was given much medication by my parents. We had never even heard that the Lord could heal. But…one day, I heard about Jehovah Rapha – God the Healer – and I heard about the power of the Most High. I found out that He could and would do all things that He promised – there is nothing too hard for Him! NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!! (Luke 1:39.)
Praise God! When I heard – I changed my medication. I chose to believe the Word of God…I chose to trust in Him…and I chose to take doses—big doses—of His Word. He has never failed me. No, not even one time! (1 Kings 8:56) What God does for one of His children, He will do for you! All His promises are yes and amen.
God sent the Holy Spirit to instruct me and guide me when I turned to Him for healing and divine health. He told me to speak to my body, and give it no other choice but to line up with His Word which is alive, active, operative and effective. Even though I sometimes have to wait a while, my body has never failed to be healed by the spoken Word of God.
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faith.
I followed His instructions on an occasion when my leg was infected and swollen—I was in great pain. Buck, my husband, was just before calling invited dinner guests to tell them not to come when…Oh my, yes, I remembered! I spoke to my leg, I give you no other choice but to be healed, because God’s Word says you are and you might as well act like it. I began to walk around and instantly the swelling left, the pain dissipated; and the evening of fellowship and good food included praise to our God for watching over His Word to perform it. God’s Word is your life – His prescription for healing!
My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
Donnis went home to be with the Lord at the age of 81. She and her husband, Rev. A. H. “Buck” Griffin who lived until the ripe old age of 96, were living memorials to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises.
The joy of the Lord was her strength, and this petite woman of faith ministered the Word of God with fervor and great zeal.
