Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift myself up to You and pray a hedge of protection around me. I thank You, Father, that You are a wall of fire round about me and that Your angels camp around about me.
I thank You, Father, that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of You, Lord, You are my Refuge and my Fortress, on You I lean and rely and in You I [confidently] trust! You cover me with Your pinions [feathers], and under Your wings shall I trust and find refuge. I shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day. Only with my eyes will I behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because I have made You, Lord, my Refuge, no evil shall befall me—no accident will overtake me—nor shall any plague or calamity come near me. For You will give Your angels [especial] charge over me, to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways [of obedience and service].
Father, because I have set my love upon You, therefore will You deliver me. I will call upon You, and You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble, and You will satisfy me with long life and will show me Your salvation. Not a hair of my head shall perish.
Thank You, Lord, for Your watch, care, and protection. In Jesus’ name, amen.
