Prayer for Self
Lord, help me today to do my very best. I give myself 100 percent to my company. Help me to be the most valuable worker possible, one who is sensitive to the needs of his co-workers and responsive to the desires of his employer. I purpose to perform my duties with a spirit of excellence, to do all that is required of me, and even above and beyond that which is required of me, that I may be a blessing to others and an asset to this company.
Lord, I purpose in my heart to fulfill my duties to the best of my ability. I vow never to shirk my responsibilities or to be slack in my work. If I make a mistake, I will be open and honest and forthright, admitting it and doing all I can to correct it.
I make a commitment not to try to impress anybody but to do my job humbly and quietly, effectively and efficiently. I will not stretch the truth or give the impression that something is true when it’s not. I will not be lax or lazy but will be conscientious and trustworthy in all my business dealings.
I will do my best to establish and maintain good relationships with my co-workers and superiors. I am committed to be a faithful, devoted worker. Whatever my hand touches, that I will do with all my might, with all my energy, with all that is within me. I will do everything in my power to become the most productive employee in this organization. I solemnly pledge that I will be nothing but a blessing to it.
I know, Lord, that promotion comes from You. I thank You that the faithful will be rewarded and that I will abound in blessings. Thank You that my attitude, commitment and performance on the job will become obvious to those for whom I work and that recognition, promotion, benefits and raises will follow as a matter of course.
Thank You for the opportunity to see You show Yourself strong on my behalf. I call upon the Greater One Who is in me today to provide me strength, knowledge, wisdom and ability beyond my human limits. Thank You that I operate supernaturally today, by the power of Your indwelling Spirit so that I am able to perform my duties with outstanding accuracy and excellence.
