To Give Your Finances to the Lord
Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent for the times I have robbed You of tithes and offerings. I have depended on my own strength to acquire financial security, but I am not sufficient of myself to think any thing as of myself; but my sufficiency is of You.
Forgive me for speaking against You, and for withholding blessings from others. I approach You with clean hands and a pure heart to seek Your will. There are so many ministries and people in financial need; I am asking You to direct me in my giving. You have brought me out of the darkness of bondage into Your marvelous light, and the blood of Your Son, Jesus, redeems me. I bring my whole tithe into Your storehouse that there may be food in Your house, trusting Your Word that You will open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing on me that I will not have room enough for it.
When I give my offerings to benefit Your people and increase Your Kingdom, I will remember that I am bringing my offerings to You even as my heart prompts me. My giving shall be done with simplicity.
In the name of Jesus, I renounce, smash, and annihilate the need to impress others or to buy their love and acceptance, because I am accepted in the Beloved. I bind my mind to the mind of Christ, my emotions to the control of the Holy Spirit, and will give my offerings as the Holy Spirit directs me. I purpose to give what I have decided in my heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion. I am a cheerful giver. And Lord, You are able to make all grace abound to me, so that in all things at all times, having all that I need, I will abound in every good work. In love and in obedience to Your will, I give tithes and offerings out of that which You have entrusted to my stewardship.
As a child imitates the father, I will follow You; walking in love, in the light (in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) and walking circumspectly, not as a fool, but as a wise person, understanding Your will for my life. All that I have is Yours, and I will no longer withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in my power to act, but will give in the blessed name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
