To Have Confidence
Jehovah God, I am Your child. You are my Father. Because Your presence goes with me, I am ready to face each day with its new beginnings. Yesterday is gone. Old things have passed away and, behold, all things have become new; and all things are of You.
Once I was “darkness,” but now as a Christian I am “light.” I live as a child of the light. The light produces in me all that is good and right and true. I desire for my life to be living proof of the things which please You. Light is capable of showing up everything for what it really is.
I will do all I have to do without grumbling or arguing, so that I may be blameless and harmless, Your faultless child, living in a warped and diseased age, and shining like a light in a dark world.
You, Father, are the Vinedresser; Jesus is the Vine; and I am the branch. I am fruitful in all my work, for I share His life and He shares my life. You always cause me to triumph in Christ Jesus, in Whose name I pray, amen.
