To Operate a Business as an Outreach
Father, You watch over Your Word to perform it. I desire to live so that my life reflects Jesus. Thank You for the wisdom that I need to promote Christ in this place of business. It is my desire that others will see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven.
Grant me the grace to live in harmony with myself, my family, employees, customers, vendors and suppliers as well as the general public. If possible, as far as it depends on me, I purpose to live at peace with everyone.
Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to help all of us in this business to operate as one. Our peace, harmony and unity will be a testimony to the world that You have sent Jesus. May we be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent Jesus and that You love them even as You love Him.
Father, You have made me an agent of reconciliation; You have commissioned me with the message of reconciliation. I am now Christ’s ambassador, as though You were appealing directly to others through me. For Christ’s sake I beg others, “Make your peace with God. Now is the ‘acceptable time’; this very day is the ‘day of salvation.’”
Use this business as an evangelistic outreach to those who do not know You. As an able minister of the new covenant—a living epistle read by all men—I ask You for the wisdom to know how to present salvation to those who do not know You.
I will acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ in all my ways, thanking Him for acknowledging me before You. I declare and decree on the authority of Your Word that I am salt and light. I am ready to give a quiet and reverent answer to anyone who wants a reason for the hope that is within me.
