Daily Prayer for March 10

Long Life

Another day begins: I remember the day I purposed to be ever learning, ever growing and ever achieving to the glory of the Father. The year was 2014 and I was thinking about family and friends who have gone before me. The thought of Heaven is more precious to me than ever because I know my Savior, family and friends are there waiting for me. I thank God for both past generations and those who are still living here on earth.  I’m thankful for those I disagree with and those I agree with—I continue to learn from both. Life is an adventure that continues throughout the stages of life here on earth—eternal life begins when we confess Jesus as Savior and Lord. Choose to rejoice as birthdays roll around, even though you may not feel like it. “Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many.”  Let go of selfish ambition, frustration, hurts and regrets. God wants you to be fully alive, intact, free from the decay of unforgiveness, bitterness and grief. When you love God with your entire being and walk in love with your fellowman, the evil one cannot touch you. Grow old with me! The best is yet to be.” ― Robert Browning

PRAYER
To you, O Lord, I pray. You carried me from my birth, even from the womb. Now even at my age You continue to carry me! When I call to You, You answer me. You have been with me in the good times and in times of trouble. Thank You for rescuing me and honoring me. With long life You will satisfy me and show me Your salvation. Lord, I bless You…all that is within me blesses You! I praise You and will not forget any of Your benefits…You forgive all my sins and You heal all my diseases. Thank You for redeeming my life from the pit of depression and self-destructions.  It’s wonderful and amazing that You crown me lavishly with lovingkindness and tender mercy. You continue to satisfy my years with good things so that my youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle. Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me, and I will lift my voice in praise throughout eternity, in the name of Jesus!
