The call that we had been expecting came on this day in 2002! We welcomed another granddaughter named Emma Beam Sutton to our family. She greeted us with a solemn expression, and we learned that we had to work for her radiant smile! God gave her a kind, tender and compassionate spirit. She is patient and independent! She enjoys being with her friends, and seeks to overcome people’s negative notions about her with kindness. Emma, a competitive player loves to play soccer, volley ball and other sports. She is creative and I’m honored to display her art work in my home and office. Emma is a middle child who is empathetic and motivated to help others. At the age of twelve (12) she raised money to help a little boy named William Hall who has perthes disease in his leg. God has great plans for her, and has foreordained paths that she is to walk.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for these granddaughters that You created to be capable, intelligent and valiant women. Holy Spirit, help me pray for them according to Your will. When I pray, I am assured that You will work all things together for good for the ones who love You, for those who are called according to Your purpose. They are in this world, but not of this world, and with every temptation You will show them the way of escape. I loose obsessive thought patterns from their minds and bind their minds to Your grace, mercy, love, and power. You have given them a sound mind, and I thank You for giving them the courage to make wise choices that brings honor to You. Their bodies were formed to be temples of the Holy Spirit, and I pray that they will bring glory and honor to You in the name of Jesus.
