The Holy Spirit has Come

Early morning I awaken before the world outside my window is reshaped. I cherish my private time with the Holy Spirit as I wait for the dawning of a new day. Sometimes, in the midst of my meditation, He walks me back to a buried memory…a memory that did not die. Every time He heals the memory and gives me the grace to forgive and renew my mind. The toxic thought pattern usually formed in childhood is replaced with Truth that makes me free. God created us triune beings. We are 1) spirit, which is made brand new at the time of salvation 2) soul, which has to be renewed day by day 3) body, which is the seat of the five senses. We are spirit and soul living in a body!

Prayer:
LORD Jesus, before You ascended to the Father You promised that You would send someone just like You who would remain with me forever! I thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to be my Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby). All my life I searched for truth, and You did more than I could have ever asked. This same Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, Whom I know, and He will teach me all Truth and remind me of all things that You have said. ” How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be how marvelous, how wonderful is my Savior’s love for me!” All glory to the Father, all glory to the Son, all glory to the Spirit—the great Three-in-One! I worship You in spirit and in truth!
