Prayer
Heavenly Father, I bind my mind to the mind of Christ, my will to the will of God, and my emotions to the control of the Holy Spirit. I choose to walk according to the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, setting my mind on the things of the Spirit. To be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Since I have been raised to new life with Christ, I choose to set my sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at Your right hand. Today, I choose to think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For I died to this life, and my real life is hidden with Christ in God.
I count myself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. I know that Your plans for me are for good and not for disaster, to give me a future and a hope. When I pray, You will listen and when I look for You wholeheartedly, I will find You. Lord, I exchange the lies for Your truth.
Jesus, You have set me free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free! I choose to cherish this truth and stubbornly refuse to go back into the bondage of depression and anxiety. In Jesus’ name, amen.
