Daily Prayer “Glorious Victory”
Father-God, what marvelous love You have extended to me! You love me and call me Your child, and that is what I am! I stand in awe because I am loved by You, and I choose to let Your love continually pour from me to others because, God, You are Love. The light of Your love shined within me when You sent Your matchless Son into the world so that I might live through Him.
By living in God, loves has been brought to its full expression in me so that I may fearlessly face the day of judgment and every other day. Why? Because as He is, so am I in this world.
This is love: You loved me long before I loved You. It was Your love, not mine. You proved it by sending Your Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away my sins. Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. That means dread does not exist in my life, but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror!
With God on my side like this, how can I lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for me, embracing my condition and exposing Himself to the worst by sending His own Son, is there anything else He wouldn’t gladly and freely do for me? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for me—who was raised to life for me!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for me. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? No way!
Nothing in the universe has the power to diminish His love toward me. Troubles, pressures, and problems—and all forms of fear, anxiety, and depression—are unable to come between me and heaven’s love. None of this fazes me! Even in the midst of all these things, I triumph over them all, for God has made me to be more than a conqueror, and His love is my glorious victory over everything!
I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between me and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced me.
