Daily Prayer “Anxious for Nothing”
Father-God, I bow low here in Your awesome presence and submit to You. Turn Your searching gaze into my heart and examine me through and through. Find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to Your glorious, everlasting ways—the path that brings me back to You.
Boldly and confidently, I pour out all my worries and stress upon You, and I choose to leave them with You, for You always tenderly care for me! Empowered by the Holy Spirit, I will be well balanced and always alert because my enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for his prey to devour. I’m taking a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack of anxiety with strong, vigorous faith, in the name of Jesus.
