Surrender!
Submission is a willingness to yield or surrender. Today I’m talking about surrendering to a Higher Power – the God who made us. He doesn’t demand that you submit or yield; He gave you a free will. Yet do you ever wonder what would have happened in the Garden of Eden if Adam had submitted to God’s instruction rather than choosing to disobey God? When I read the first three chapters of Genesis, I realize that it was God’s plan to enjoy a close relationship with His children. Through Christ Jesus we now once again have access to God and His original plan for man — if we surrender and yield to His instruction and humble ourselves before Him. Jesus said, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7 NKJV).

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You. I surrender and yield myself to Your Word.  Your will be done — not mine. I will mediate on Your Word day and night. By the grace of God, I will be an obedient doer of Your Word, so my pathway will be prosperous and successful. I renew my mind to Your Word and pray that Your Word will dominate my thoughts, words, and actions. I submit to truth so I will not be deceived by the devil. I am strong in You, Lord, and in the power of Your might. Today, I choose life and the blessings of Deuteronomy 28. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
