Daily Prayer “A Life Abundant and Free”
Jesus, I believe that You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, and You came to give me Life—abundant life. I know that I am here for such a time as this, and I am valuable to You.
Father, teach me to walk victoriously in my new-found freedom. You rescued me completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness, and You translated me into the kingdom realm of Your beloved Son. I thank You that I am victorious over PTSD because in the Son all my sins are canceled, and I have the release of redemption through His very blood. With Your sacred blood, You thoroughly cleanse my conscience of things I may have done that are wrong and the memory of wrong things others have done to me. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Jesus offered Himself to God as the perfect Sacrifice that now frees me from my dead works to worship and serve You, the living God, my Father!
I no longer have to live under a low-lying black cloud. Now no condemnation awaits those who are living in Jesus the Anointed, the Liberating King! The case is closed! There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus!
Father, I will stop dwelling on the past and not even remember these former things! I won’t keep going over old history. I’m leaving my old life behind, putting everything on the line for this mission. I am sprinting toward the only goal that counts: to cross the line, to win the prize, and to hear Your call to resurrection life found exclusively in Jesus the Anointed. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this. I fasten my heart to the future. The old is gone—and see—a new life has begun!
