Daily Prayer “The Art of Training my Mind”
Lord, today I choose to begin training my mind and renouncing thoughts of death for a total reformation of how I think. I surrender myself to You to be Your sacred, living sacrifice, and live in holiness, experiencing all that delights Your heart.
Lord, You know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and You understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of my every thought, and You read my heart like an open book. You know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. You have gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With Your hand of love upon my life, You impart a blessing to me.
Today, I choose to fix my heart on Your promises, and I will be secure, feasting on Your faithfulness. God, You are my utmost delight and the pleasure of my life, and You will provide for me what I desire the most. I choose to give You the right to direct my life, and as I trust You along the way, I’ll find that You pulled it off perfectly! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
