Happy New Year!
Today is a day of new beginnings. It all began with God: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Before He formed man He prepared everything necessary for life and godliness. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. When God spoke unseen atoms and their subatomic particles began to take shape. The sound vibration of God’s words caused substance to manifest and appear; earth, sky, moon, stars, planets, space, vegetation, animals. Are you ready for change, for new beginnings? Your thoughts and words have the self-fulfilling power to create or destroy. If you were disappointed, hurt, betrayed and/or dismayed in the year just past be willing to forgive and let it go. Forgiveness will empower you to start a new life. You can take charge of your thoughts! Regardless of past events choose to believe God, and remind yourself that God’s plans for you are for good and not for evil. He gives you a future and a hope. Face the New Year with hope, prayerful expectancy and the assurance that God is faithful. He cares for you and He will not fail one word of His promise. No longer allow the past to dictate your decisions. Commit your way to the Lord and make plans for the New Year—counting on God to direct you. Speak over yourself and others words of life, words of new beginnings. “The things that you desire are made up of atoms. They know what you believe, hear what you say and behave accordingly!” (Quantum Faith by Annette Capps)
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I choose to let go of the past and receive the transformation that you are working in me according to Your Word. You are upholding me with Your victorious right hand, and my primary goal is to know You better and more intimately. I ask You to fill me with Your mighty, glorious strength so that I can keep going no matter what happens—always full of the joy of the Lord. This year I will love, laugh and spread the joy that You have set before me in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
