Father, thank You for Your goodness. My soul was melting because of trouble, I was at my wits’ end. Then I cried to You, my LORD, in my trouble, and You brought me out of my distresses. You calmed the storm, and the waves are still. Now I am glad. Thank You for guiding me. I give thanks to You for Your goodness, and for Your wonderful works to my children in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Psalm 107:23-31
My family and I are in such a strange place. We are standing on the verge of destiny for this family, and yet we are being streched and pushed to major limits.
In the midst of GOD’s promises to us being realized, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, we’ve all lost jobs and contracts, our gas was disconnected back in April (in the middle of a cold snap), our phones are disconnected (which I need for business), our car was repossessed (there is no public transportation around here), now our water and electricity faces the same fate this week!!
My children have no school supplies, our foodstamps were wrongfully terminated and have to be reinstated, which takes up to 45 days, we are out of food, and the list just goes on.
We are a praying family…my husband and our children read the WORD and pray everyday together, we attend church regularly (when we have transportation), we tithe (when we receive money), we BELIEVE GOD!! I just don’t know what else to say to our children. They are starting to become distraught and a bit angry. I believe GOD, but I must admit, I am becoming tired. Please pray for us!!!
