Restoration of Your Children’s Mind, Will, and Emotions

Father, my children and I have seen troubles, many and bitter, and I ask You to restore our lives again; from the depths of the earth bring us up. Restore us, O God, and make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are able to restore my children to emotional wholeness, and I cry from the depths of my being, “Have mercy on my children, Son of David!” (Matt. 9:27 niv). Lord, You are called the Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. I purpose to rebuild the ruins, and You will restore us to health and heal our wounds.
Thank You for hearing my prayer, and watching over Your Word to perform it on behalf of my children. I trust You to restore them to soundness and emotional health. Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish, and I ask You to use it for good and not evil in the lives of my children. In Your love You have kept my children from the pit of destruction; You have put all their sins behind Your back. I pray that they will not suffer for the sins of their parents.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that my children and I will be free from rejection, resentment, envy, jealousy, and anger. Christ, You have really set us free. Now we want to make sure that we stay free, resisting the negative thoughts and feelings that would enslave us again. When my ex-spouse is doing well financially and establishing new relationships, give us the grace to rejoice.
God of all grace, You called us to Your eternal glory in Christ. After we have suffered a little while, You will restore us and make us strong, firm, and steadfast. Thank You for loving us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
