Loving from Generation to Generation

The year was 1977. Our second grandchild, a bouncing baby boy, was born on this date. Joseph was chosen by the Creator of the universe to be born for such a time as this. He is our red-head with a mischievous twinkle in his eye and a keen sense of humor. Remembering those early years when he and his siblings would be at the house…sometimes he would lay down in the floor to watch television. Hearing laughter, I would hurry to the den where his younger sisters were taking turns walking on his back. I didn’t like the game they were playing, “Girls, girls, get off Joe! He is trying to watch TV!” Joe would laugh and say, “They aren’t hurting me; they are just having fun!” Joseph, the peacemaker and hard worker is compassionate and understanding, but don’t “mess with” his children!

Prayer:
Father-God, I praise You for our grandson, Joseph, who is a mighty man of valor and a man of prayer. You never leave him alone! You are with him when he walks through the valley and when he is climbing the mountain of victory. Beholding the glory of the Lord, Joe is being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. Your plans for him are plans for good and not for disaster, to give him a future and a hope. I proclaim that Joseph Copeland will hear Your voice in the night season and he shall do exploits in Your name and for Your glory, in the name of Jesus!
